August Sun

AUGUST SUN

During late summer in 2017, there was quite a bit of rain here in Washington. But it wasn’t raining water. The sky was raining ash! All of this ash and smoke was due to a huge forest fire. Dark skies and smokey air went on for weeks. Because of all the smoke, the sun looked bright red, as you can see in the pictures above. It gave me a good opportunity to get some photos. These photos have no edits, and this is really what outside looked like! Now let’s just hope this does not happen again in 2018.
